Tau and the Holy Grail - I

A Contemplation.

All religions and esoteric traditions is a continuous description of the history of man and his development, written by the teachers of man, incarnating again and again. The same stories are told in consecutive cultures with different words but with like symbols.

Our universe is one, our reality is one, all religious symbols describe the same reality, the Grail, the Micro cosmos.

Forget your opinions, use your senses, and look for the patterns, find the underlying structure.

Most people look for the differences, and the differences is the details, so they study the details with great enthusiasm, but they never see the large picture. This is also how religious wars start, looking for the differences, instead of looking for the shared wisdom, and thereby understanding the differences too.

Look at the following symbols, see how they match, and see how the details references each other.

I have tried to keep the text short as the pictures are the central.

The Tau or Tao

The central story behind the Earth is development, that out of the old the new should grow. The Tau symbols is the old where out of the new shall grow. The horizontal line describes the feminine and the vertical the masculine.

Tau Cross

And as a hammer from Scandinavia, and pillars from Peru and Turkey and as a Mexican World Tree.

We also know Tau from the Hanged Man of Tarot, man as deeply incarnated into the physical world as possible, now the path should be up, and we know it from a Bishops staff.

This is from South Arabia, and contains many interesting symbols:

Tau, South Arabia, Taurus, moon Grail.

We have the Moon Grail middle top, the Bull of Lucifer or Shiva and two rams symbolizing the powers of the new time. The figure is very much like a grail.

Other Tau-like symbols from Buddhism and the Mayas. Here we also have the wheel of fate.

Irminsul

From Wikipedia:

An Irminsul (Old Saxon, probably "great/mighty pillar" or "arising pillar") was a sacral pillar-like object attested as playing an important role in the Germanic paganism of the Saxon people. The oldest chronicle describing an Irminsul refers to it as a tree trunk erected in the open air...

The Old Norse form of Irmin is Jörmunr, which just like Yggr was one of the names of Odin. Yggdrasil ("Yggr's horse") was the yew or ash tree from which Odin sacrificed himself, and which connected the nine worlds. Jakob Grimm connects the name Irmin with Old Norse terms like iörmungrund ("great ground", i.e. the Earth) or iörmungandr ("great snake", i.e. the Midgard serpent).

Although nobody know the form of the Irminsul Neopagans have chosen one from the Externsteine relief, a Tau form:

Irminsul Externsteine reliefIrminsul Externsteine reliefIrminsul Externsteine relief

One of the soldiers taking Christ down from the cross stands on a palm or tau form. This have the neopagans chosen as the Irminsul.

John the Baptist was the old World Tree, the old Adam Kadmon, the old Templebuilder, giving over to the new Adam, thats why he was beheaded, the old tree was broken, and a new was build after the resurrection, when Jesus joined with his Father again.

The Ankh

It's also part of the Ankh. At the top we have the birth of the Son, like Horus, the Buddha Child, Krishna, Jesus and us!

Ankh

Primarely known from Egypt, but also seen in Mexico.

The Ankh is also related to the Cross, the Rose, the Lotus and the Winged Disc.

The Bull

It all began with the Ox, without the Ox no human culture:

The Age of the Bull ended and the Age of the Ram began.

After the age of Ram or the Lamb our current age of the Fish started.

Cultural Ages

After the Age of the Fish, the Age of the waterbearer will come.

The Ram or Lamb

Out of the hair of the Bull Shiva came the Ram, and the transformed Shiva, Rama who fought the Bull. Ram was an avatar of Vishnu, as also Krishna was, who also fought the Bull, but the Bull was much weaker when Krishna walked the Earth.

AUM

In the Beginning was the Word and the word was ॐ, AUM or Amen, the physical world is the result of the resonance of the sound when it, in the beginning, was recited. AUM represents Brahman-Atman, and the three roots of the syllable are A + U + M. The sound is the body of the soul, and it manifests in three, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, the three Logoi.

AUM - OM - ॐ

Shiva is the 3, the trident and Tilak, symbolizing the three Gunas, Tamas, Rajas and Sattva. Vishnu is the U and Brahma the o in the top. To the right we have the I AM, Atman. The bull symbolizes Shiva. The third eye symbol has the symbol of Shiva (3) inside the triangle, and the triangle is the symbol for the Holy Grail, the third Logos. Here more symbols for the Third Logos.

The symbol is found many places:

When asked what it meant, the Easter Islanders replied that it represented "Make Make," their creator god, and the creator god is Lucifer/Shiva, connected to Venus.

The Winged Disc

The Caduceus Staff with the winged disc is also the Tau symbol, or rather the Ankh symbol, and it is the same as the Kabbalah Tree of Life. The winged Isis and the Zarathustrian Faravar are also. Our spine with the Kundalini power and the Skambha. The Serpents is a common symbol in all the symbol groups, of Lucifer or Shiva.

Fleur de Lis

"The Awakened One", Buddhist mural depicting Buddha sitting under the Tree of Life encoded as the Fleur de lis and Tree of Life. An Olmec influenced Zapotec urn from Monte Alban, in Oaxaca Mexico. It portrays a ruler or deity with facial features that appear similar to those found in the Asian cultures. Depicted with the familiar "Olmec snarl" symbolism of a snarling jaguar, and crowned with a Fleur de lis.

The Logos consists of two beings, both man and woman, therefore two heads of the eagle.

The two headed eagle is like Bird Phoenix, but here the two raised souls of the same spirit have joined again, after living separate since they were split in the two genders at the start of our development.

There are three major periods in the history of man, starting with the Bull in old India, with the Lion in the middle period with Christ in its center. The last period is of the Eagle out in the future.

It's interesting that the double headed eagle is especially known in Eastern Europe, where the coming sixth period will have its center.

The Peacock

The Peacock is symbol for the Third Logos, the god of the physical world, of the Sun and Earth. Mani who merged Christianity, Zarathustrism and Buddhism creating Manicheism.

Akhenaten was the Egyptean Pharao who introduced the new Third Logos. His queen was Nefertite and we see their family on the first picture. The sun symbol is very much like the Peacock, especially the second picture with the Buddist Peacock. In the third picture we have the Sun of Aten and Horus as the active power with the ruling regalia. Osiris is the First Logos, Isis the Second Logos and Horus the Third Logos.

Aten Horus

Indra is another expression of the Third Logos, and the physical universe is known as Indras Net:

The Egyptian Bennu

Egyptean BennuThe Bennu is an old Egyptian god connected to the sun, creation and rebirth. Could have been the inspiration for the Greek phoenix.

The Bennu was a self-created being who played a role in the creation of the world. It's said to be the ba of Ra and enabled the creativity of Atum. It had flown over the waters of Nun before creation, landing on a rock and issuing a call that determined the nature of creation. It was a symbol of rebirth and was therefore associated with Osiris, with the Father.

Some of the titles of the Bennu bird were "He Who Came Into Being by Himself", the First Logos, and "Lord of Jubilees"; the latter epithet referred to the belief that the Bennu periodically renewed itself like the sun.

Dragons or the Fish-men

Dragon

The Fish-men was beings with etheric bodies and they exist all over the world. In India they are painted blue instead, and the color is the complement of the color in the etheric world, peach blossom colored.

Lemniscate Alfa and Omega

The Lemniscate

Here some variants of the lemniscate. The Saint Andrew Cross in the middle is the crossover where the gods die in the outer world to resurrect in our inner world.

The lemniscate describes the development phases of the human development. Alfa and omega have also deep symbolic meaning. Alfa have form as the left part of the lemniscate and omega has form of the full lemniscate. Alfa comes from the symbol of the bull and omega symbolizes the eagle, who leaves the Earth in the skies, where the bull is Earthbound.

Lemniscate

The left part, alpha, symbolizes the development of the physical body. The cross in the middle symbolizes the entry of the soul into the body, the sun or the lion. The right part, the development of the spirit.

The symbol is related to the yin yang symbol and also to the vesica pisces symbol.

Planetary movement:

Rudolf Steiner: ... the movement of the Earth’s axis describes a cone, a double cone whose movement is continuously balanced by the movement of the Earth’s axis. If you always had the axis of the Earth parallel to you, then the celestial pole would describe a lemniscate, but it remains stationary. That is because the movement of the Earth’s axis in a double cone is balanced by the movement of the celestial pole in a lemniscate. Thus, it is balanced.

Analemma:

The lemniscate can also be seen as two fish moving backwards and forwards, as the sign of Pisces:

Rahu and Ketu - North and South Node

“According to mythological tales Rahu is the head of the dragon. Head as we know contain the brain and controls the functioning of the entire body. This suggests that Rahu is the controlling and active node.

Ketu rules of the body, sends feelings and sensations to the brain. To analyse those sensations and take action if necessary is within the jurisdiction of Rahu [Percept and Concept.] More precisely Ketu [karma] has the power of transforming the events into experience which turn into wisdom [by Rahu.]” See Chakana – The Incan Cross

The Scythian Dragons

The legends of the Scythians or Sakas, their Greek and Persian names respectively, states that they were originally full of Holy Grail or Dragon Force. Saka, which is sak in Avestan and śak in Sanscrit, denotes “being powerful.” Madam Blavatsky states in “The Secret Doctrine,” that Saka denotes a “Dragon of Wisdom.”

One of the Middle Eastern Scythian “Grail Kings” was Fénius Farsa (or Farsaid), whose surname translated  as “Radiating Grail Dragon Force.”

Fénius returned home to Scythia, but his son Niall continued south into Egypt where he married Princess Merytaten, the daughter of Nefertiti and the Dragon Pharaoh Akhenaton. Akhenaton represented a very ancient lineage of Grail Dragon Kings that had existed in Egypt since the dawn of time. Thus, through the union of Princess Merytaten and Niall united the two ancient and powerful dragon lineages of Scythia and Egypt.

Akhenaten

Following this strategic and pivotal marriage Merytaten received the Scythian royal title of “Scota,” meaning Princess of the Scythian Scoloti or Scotti. One of the names of the ancient Scythians was the Scoloti, which was a title associated with an early Scythian warrior named Scotti. After reaching Ireland the Scythian-Egyptians migrated to Scotland.

The World Tree

Brahmanda and the Size of the Cosmic Egg

How big is the human universe? Here the size of the world egg is defined from Pluto and in.

"According to the Puranic-Tantric picture of the world, our earth is at the center of a vast multidimensional and multilayered universe, which is known as the ‘brahmanic egg’ (brahmanda). Tradition speaks of countless such universe islands floating in the infinite cosmic ocean. The observable material earth is merely the coarsest and least spectacular aspect of the universe. The universe reveals its true splendor only to trained meditative vision.

As the puranas and tantras describe it, the earth is really part of a vast circular plane called bhu-mandala with a diameter of 500 million yojanas (4 billion miles). This curiously corresponds with the size of our solar system if we consider Pluto’s mean distance from the sun which is approximately 3.6 million miles.

The bhu mandala comprises seven concentric rings of land, or continents, which are separated from each other by equally concentric great oceans. [The seven rings of the astral world, the inner seven planets.]

The innermost island, or continent, is known as jambudvipa, which has a diameter of 100,000 yojanas (800,000 miles). It is named after the Jambu tree that grows on top of Mount Meru, or Sumeru, which is situated as the center of the continent and thus at the heart of the entire bhu-mandala.

Mount Meru, the cosmic mountain made of solid gold, is said to be 84,000 yojanas (672,000 miles) high. It is sometimes described as a cone that widens with increasing height.

The Vedic seers and the visionaries of other traditions and cultures speak of this as the tree of life.

The Jambu island is subdivided into nine regions (varsha), eight of which are semiheavenly realms, while the ninth is the heartland of bharata-varsha. This term is generally applied to India, but originally may have referred to the entire earth. ...

But even the Creator does not enjoy true immortality and forfeits his life after 42,200 kalpas, corresponding to 120 brahmic years. Since one kalpa (or brahmic daytime) is 4,32,000,000 human years long, Brahma’s lifespan translates into a staggering 453,248,000,000,000 human years. [There are other more reasonable time estimates in other traditions.] The present Brahma is said to be in his fifty-first year. His eventual death will coincide with the total destruction of he brahmic egg itself.

Kalevala

The Kalevala is considered the national epic of Finland.

Kalevala One egg’s lower half transformed
And became the earth below,
And its upper half transmuted
And became the sky above;
From the yolk the sun was made,
Light of day to shine upon us;
From the white the moon was formed,
Light of night to gleam above us;
All the colored brighter bits
Rose to be the stars of heaven
And the darker crumbs changed into
Clouds and cloudlets in the sky.

Lingga Yoni

The Lingga Yoni have strong similarities with the Ankh, the Tree of Life, the Grail, and the Androgyne Y, and many more.

Lingga Yoni The Androgyne

It looks like a chalice with the Sun as the hostie.

Another form of the Lingga Yoni that look even more like a chalice when seen from the bottom, but seen from the side the symbolism behind the chalice is more clear. There's laid flowers by it, especially at the top, as kind of sacrifice to the gods.

Linngua Yoni Lingga Yoni

The chalice top is the uterus from where the new universe will grow, fructified by the old spiritual world symbolized by the stalk of the chalice.

Kali is also connected to the lower triangle, the Grail is symbol for the feminine:

The Holy Grail and the Hostie

The Holy Grail

Here the Holy Grail, where the first is shown with the Hostie. We have also a piece of the Anna May Triptychon where Joseph of Arimathea fill the Grail with the blood dripping from Jesus, symbolizing that Jesus is the Grail, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, that wouldn't come before Jesus entered the deathworld, the astral world.

I the second chalice we have the twelve disciples or avatars and the four Archangels or groupsouls of mankind, also known from the Zodiac. The last show man between the two powers on Earth in whose field we develop.

Here the symbol of the Gospel writer John:

Symbol of the discipel John
In most of John's other incarnations he dies prematurely, like poison, hanging, burning, when his job is done,
but in this incarnation he had a long life.

The grail is symbolized with the triangle pointing down and the oblate with the triangle pointing up (Steiner):

Here are more traditions combined into one drawing. The ego is the old center of the body from when we were animals, here symbolized with a caterpillar. The day the ego accepts the new center, the 'I' of the soul, as a co-worker and not an enemy, the caterpillar dies and resurrects into a butterfly.

The Holy Grail by Kim Graae Munch

In the drawing we have the 4 lower bodies of man and the ages they typically are developed. Each corresponds to a chakra. After 28 we begin developing the higher bodies, the higher chakras.

In the following picture we have the Christian Trinity, and on the table the Grail, with a hand pointing to it. The Grail should contain the other three, it is God, the Mother and Creater of mankind, but hidden under a shroud.

The Schytian's and the Grail

From the Skythian creation myth:

”According to Herodotus the primeval being, whose name is "Targitaos," had three sons.

Three burning golden objects fell from the sky—a cup, a battle-ax, and a yoked plow.

Each son attempted to gather them, but only the youngest, whom Herodotus calls "Kolaxais," was successful.

From the youngest son descended the "Royal Scythians" (the Paralatai), who had sovereignty over all.

From the second son, "Lipoxai's," descended the "Warrior Scythians" (the Aukhatai).

From the eldest, "Arpoxai's," sprang the "Agricultural Scythians" (the Katiaroi and the Traspies).”

These are the Trinity or the Three Logoi, Third, Second and First Logos.

The Scythians so to speak inhabited most of the world, in Europe maybe excepts the Basques.

Cups are central in the Scythian culture.

Both Gass and Belinski suggest that the small cups, which are not much bigger than a thimble, were worn the way Christians wear crosses today. They were used to contain opium or other narcotic substances for sacred rites.

The metal cups are found buried in kurgans all along the Silk Road, they contained cannabis mixed with hot milk, maybe related to soma in India and haoma in Persia.

Lucifer and the Holy Grail

The legend of the Scythian cup falling from heaven and the jewel of lucifer falling from heaven and made into the Holy Grail are very much alike.

From Wolfram von Eschenbach’s poem ‘Parcival’ and from Wartburgkrieg, without going into more details, we have the following:

"The holy Grail was the cup wherein was gathered the blood that flowed from the wound in the Redeemer’s side; it consisted of a jewel that dropped out of Lucifer’s crown as he fell to the abyss. Whoso looked on the Grail, died not; and whoso served it, remained free from every deadly sin. But the holy Grail chose its servitors itself, and gave them every earthly joy and heavenly happiness. It stood in a wondrous temple deep in a wood, and was tended by an elect pure knighthood."

Green Dodecaeder - Jewel of Lucifer

"The holy Grail is a stone of the most wondrous and mysterious kind. A number of angels having remained neutral and inactive during the battle of Lucifer and the rebel angels against God and the faithful heavenly hosts, after Lucifer’s fall they were condemned by God to support this stone, which had dropped from Lucifer’s crown, hovering between Heaven and Earth till the hour of redemption of sinful mankind.

Then they brought it to Earth, and, formed into a costly vessel, it served for the dish out of which Christ ate the Pascal lamb, and in which Joseph of Arimathea received the Saviour’s blood." (translation: William Ashton Ellis)

“Sixty thousand angels who wished to drive God from heaven had a crown made for Lucifer. When the archangel Michael tore this from Lucifer’s head, a stone sprang loose from it, and that stone is the Grail” (translation: William Ashton Ellis).

Venus, the Morning Star, was the jewel from Lucifer’s crown. The green color of the stone also relates it to Venus and to the Islamic faith, whose sacred color is green and whose Sabbath is Friday, the day of Venus.

From Steiner:

A wonderfully beautiful legend tells us that when Lucifer fell from heaven to earth a precious stone fell from his crown. This precious stone — so the legend proceeds — became the vessel from which Christ Jesus took the holy Supper with His disciples; the same vessel received the Christ's blood when it flowed on the cross, and was brought by angels to the western world where it is received by those who wish to come to a true understanding of the Christ principle.
...
Out of the stone, which fell from Lucifer's crown, was made the Holy Grail. If this is our conception of the mission of anthroposophy, Lucifer will guide us to the safety of a luminous spiritual life, and the Christ will guide us to the inner warmth of the soul which trusts and believes that will come about which may be called the birth of the Eternal out of the Temporal.
...
It has already begun; it began at the moment indicated in the story which tells us that the sacrificial blood of the Christ flowing from the cross was received into the vessel of the Holy Grail and brought to the West from the East, where preparation for the understanding of the incarnation of Christ had been made in a very definite way by cultivating that which represents the light of Lucifer. . . . Christ will give the substance, Lucifer the form, and from their union will arise impulses which shall permeate the spiritual evolution of mankind, and bring about what the future has in store for the healing and the blessing of the peoples. by Rudolf Steiner GA#113

Jewish legend says Lucifer as one of the Supreme Being's highly advanced archangels had a crown with 13 Emeralds. Each of the 13 was a copy of the one Emerald which Lucifer kept in his heart, or more exactly, his heart chakra.

Lucifer is the same as Shiva, and it also connects us with the Scythians. Legend tells that the Scythians were born from the locks of Shiva. From his locks emerged Virabadra, the greatest of warriors and progenitor of the Scythian race. Because of their unique origin from Shiva, the Scythians were also known as the Jats, meaning “Locks.”

Yezidite priests claim that Melek Taus, "Peacock Angel," was the proud Angel of the Garden of Eden, who refused to bow to Adam and because of his pride he fell from heaven and became Lucifer. Melek Taus of history is on the parable of the Fisher King in the Sacraments, dedicated to the Holy Grail, which was also destroyed by his pride, he lived in the Castle of the Grail, and he wore a hat of peacock feathers. The Handbag of Good and Evil

Handbag of Good and Evil
Click on picture to enlarge. It contains a picture of the world tree.

All over the world is the handbag depicted in sculptures and have mystified many. They were spiritual symbols, not descriptions of daily life, but they used daily life symbols to make it understanable for man.

I first learned about the symbolic bag in dreams: I sat at a table in a cafeteria at a railway station, i sorted the the bad from the good in my suitcase and left the unusable at the table before I took the train into my new future.

Many see karma as a boomerang that hit them out in the future, but that is not how it works. When we create karma it becomes part of us, we takes it with us. If we commit at murder in hate and fear these becomes a permanent part of us, our level of fear and hate are raised. We become vulnerable for these powers and we attract situations and others with the same energies. Through these experiences we learn that it was wrong what we did, and through that understanding we transform the hate and fear to wisdom, to dharma.

Karma and dharma is what we have in our bag, where dharma is the wisdom of our many lives and karma is the folly of our many lives.

On the bags are mostly depicted the two powers of the physical world, the nodes or serpents Rahu and Ketu, Yang and Yin or Lucifer and Ahriman. The first is the inner lures, knowledge, the second the outer lures, desires. Between these are sometimes depicted a person or the tree of life. This is man under development, creating wisdom and love, life.

This symbol is also near related to the Holy Grail.

The Wheel of Fate and the Chariot

The chariot symbolizes the movement through life following karma. Krishna is the ultimate charioteer transporting the Hero Arjuna through life doing the will of Krishna. If Arjuna can't handle the situation Krishna uses the wheel of karma to force his will on the world.

In the fourth tarot card from Crowleys deck the Carioteer has the Holy Grail in his hands. The chariot is drawn by the four kerubic beasts: The Bull, the Lion, the Eagle, and the Man. The starry night sky is cast in the canopy of the chariot and includes the inscription ABRACADABRA.

The second card from Rider Tarot has the Vinged Disc.

Krishna drawing Arjuna after him when using the wheel of fate, of karma, Arjuna just has to follow what fate dictated:

The Androgyne - Y

An engraving from Michael Maier's Symbola Aureae Mensae (1617) we see Albertus Magnus pointing to an alchemical androgyne holding the letter Y. Zola (42) explains, "The Y is, as Philo taught, the symbol of the Word which pierces the essence of being. The Nassine Gnostics taught that it represented the intimate nature of being, which is male and female and, as such, eternal."

The Androgyne

The Y is also connected to the Lingga Yoni.

The Word

The Moon as the Symbol of the Grail

The Moon is the symbol for the Holy Grail, where the Hostie can be seen within it:

Moon - Holy Grail

Earth with it's living beings are what is contained within the Moon Sphere, within the Grail.

The Moon is the symbol for the Angelic world, the etheric plane, also known as Shambalah or Paradise and many other names, with the energy known as Kundalini, Vril or Prana, that are contained by the Grail. Out of the Moon the Etheric Sun raises.

Dore Dantes look up in the heavens Artimis of Ephesus

The Moon gods are known by the names of Abel, Krishna, Odin, Adam Kadmon, Antropos, Jahve, Artimis, Jesus and most of the others. They are both personalities, but also hierarchies.

This is what Krisna shows Arjuna, that Krishna is both a personality that can show himself as a personality in the physical world, but at the same time he is all of the reality, and what few understand is that he also shows that Arjunah himself is such a being, the archetype of man, the Hostie. See also Gilgamesh in the following.

Shiva or Lucifer, two names for the same, they was the Lightbringer, that stole the Light from God, and gave it to mankind, they were the earliest teacher of mankind. We were not yet ready to receive the teachings of God directly. But that came with Krishna, who beat the Shiva Ox and who dances on the heads of Shivas Cobras, not vulnerable to Shivas powers.

Artemis gives prana to all living beings in the physical world, ie that have an etheric body. This is what the Grail does.

Joseph of Arimathea with the Grail Food of the Holy Grail

Artemis symbolizes the Mother, the creator of mankind, but the mother is hidden in most religions, as it was the masculine power that should be used to get man down into the physical. In this figure Apollo, the sun god, is shown hiding the moon god Artemis, mother nature, but she is the main power behind of our development.

We should remember that these descriptions both describe the single person, the solar system, the spiritual worlds and God.

The human skull is interesting too, it has the Tau symbol seen from above, in the left hemisphere we have our intellectual faculties, and in the right hemisphere we have our inspirational faculties, and in the frontal lopes we develop our 'I', appering as the hostie, but it permeates all our being.

The Sun Cross

Sun Cross

The Sun Cross is a plane symbol of the Holy Grail. It's known back from the city of Atlantis with streams of water out in four directions, with the temple palace in the center. They are known to command the power of the etheric plane, Prana, and have used it to construct their pyramids and other large structures. The last is a Navajo sand painting.

The four streams symbolizes the energy from the Grail streaming out, and the four group souls and the four elements.

The Yin Yang Symbol

The most known version of the Yin Yang symbol is the Chinese:

Yin Yang

Here a Roman shield, the Korean Taegeuk, where red is Heaven and blue is Earth, same colors as Kabbalah uses, red for right pillar and blue for left pillar. A Celtic yin yang swirls on bronze plaque from Mairy, Marne, dated to 4th century BC; on display at Musée des Antiquités nationales in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. And last a Japanese Futatsudomoe (a twofold Tomoe,), and the Incan cross, Chakana.

All things in the universe are either Yin or Yang, but there are no absolutes: nothing is ever all Yin or all Yang, but a balance between the two forces, when for example day changes into night, it is an example of Yang changing into Yin; when winter turns into spring; it is considered a changing from Yin to Yang. These forces are opposite and yet complementary, and share an interdependent relationship; without Yin, there is no Yang, and without Yang, no Yin. Yang is generally associated with what are bright, warm, and in motion. Yin is generally associated with what are dark, still and cold.

Pisces

Pisces Pisces Pisces

Vesica Pisces - Mandorla

Vesica pisces describes the intersection between the grail and the spiritual world, and that intersection is the Hostie or the Rose, the soul of man. The Mandorla opening corresponds to the heart chakra, to the Son, to the Lion.

Buddha in Vesica Pisces

See Hildegard: Reconciling Faith and Science: "In Scivias, her first work of visionary theology, the universe appeared as a mandorla—shaped like an egg or almond."

It has approximately the same meaning as the Taoistic Yin-Yang symbol. The tarot card Cosmos is not perfectly drawn, as the two serpent should change side and color. The winged one is known as Rahu, the North Node in astrology, as Lucifer by Rudolf Steiner, as Yang, it's the inspiration from the spiritual world. The other is Ketu, the South Node, known by Steiner as Ahriman, as Yin, is the forming principle. The intersection corresponds to Tao, it's the imaginaire line in the Taoistic symbol.

Karma Dharma Vesica Pisces

Karma is the main principle in the Grail, it forms man, it develops man. The spiritual world have the masterplan, they plan the curriculum, and our soul take the course.

Here seen from an astrological, a psychoterapeutic and esoteric view. The body corresponds to the moon in the horoscope, the seventh chakra, the Grail, the Sun is the spiritual world and in the middle the ascendant with the 'I'. The Ego is part of the body, it's not to be confused with the 'I'. The Ego is the original mind from when we were an animal, and the 'I' is our new mind, and I internal fight is between the 'I' and the Ego. The Ego has no humor, have no joy, it's afraid of the world, for the future, and it has strong desires, and it's the job of the 'I' to tame it, just like a rider taming a wild horse.

Vesica Pisces - Bodies of Man

We come from the physical, the Father, we live in the Son's or the Mother's age, and we are moving into the age of the Holy Spirit, the Son of Man:

Here the same is shown with Horus as the Archetype of humanity:

The symbol for the Mother goddess of the Wicca shows the same, from, now and to. The left moon is the physical body, our past, the center the full moon, our soul, and the right moon the spirit, the future:

The triskelion represents the three mothers, the three soul components, sentient soul, intellectual soul and consciousness soul.

Another way to see the bodies of man:

Madonna, or the Mother is connected with the grail, Heaven and Earth are father and mother of life. In the Bible the Holy Spirit is the spiritual father of Jesus Christ, and the Madonna is the mother, showing that Jesus is the result of the mergence of Heaven and Earth. Through Madonna acted the World Mother, maybe through an avatar, but the spirit was acting, it had been prepared for an æon, it couldn't be handled by lesser being.

Vesica Pisces Moire Vesica Pisces Vesica Pisces

When Jesus mentions the Father later in the Bible, it is the Holy Spirit, it's his Higher I who sank down into him at the Baptism in the form of a dove. A few days before Golgotha we hear about a youth running away without clothes, and that was the higher I, his father :-) , we see him later waiting at the grave talking. The spirit leaves the body a few days before the death, as the spirit can't enter the deathworld, that's what the story about the running youth told.

It's a very old symbolism and is connected to birth.

The Eye of Horus

We know it from the fish symbol and it may also relate to the Eye of Horus:

Vesica Pisces Eye of Horus

The "single eye" motif is a common icon in Mesoamerica like in Teotihuacan in the highlands of Mexico where the god Tlaloc and Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent, shared the same temple. The single eye motif may have originated with the Sumerian God Enki who was known as the "Lord of the Sacred Eye" in ancient Sumerian religion. The ancient Hebrews depicted the sun as an eye, and Hindus believe that the sun is the "eye of the world" (loka chakshus).

Trinities

The number three is one of the main patterns in all the spiritual traditions: Body, Soul and Spirit, or Tamas, Rajas and Sattva, or Yachay, Munay and Llankey, or Salt, Sulphur and Mercury, or ida and pingala and sushumna; the three Logoi: Osiris, Isis and Horus, or Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu or the Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And the Taoist Triad.

Man standing between Earth and Heaven, Yin and Yang, between the powers of Ahriman and Lucifer, is known all over the Earth, see also the Appendix with many more examples:

Bulls, Lions and Eagles

We have three periods, the period of the Bull, the time of Shiva and Lucifer, the teachers of mankind. Then follows the period of the Lion, the time of Christ and Horus, the first initiation of a man. Then follows the future period of the Eagle, the time of Christian Rosenkreutz and Maitreya Buddha, humanity have now become their own teachers.

It all began with the Ox, without the Ox no human culture:

Aleph - Ox

The time of the Ox prepared mans physical body to be bearer of an I, and the I entered man in the period of the Lion, and the period of the Eagle should make man a spiritual being, but the pioners of mankind are working on it here and now.

The Yin Yang symbol, the Mitsodomue, Sam-Taegeuk, and the Three Gunas

There is a variation on the Yin Yang symbol that shows the soul part too, known from Tibetan Bön, the Japanese Mitsodomue, the Korean Sam-Taegeuk or a Celtic bronze plaque.

Indras Net

Indras Net

In Indra's realm is a vast net stretched infinitely in all directions. In each node of the net is a single perfect jewel. Each jewel reflects every other jewel, infinite in number, and each of the reflected images of the jewels bears the image of all the other jewels. The effects on one jewel affects all. This is the structure of the Grail, all beings interact to create the whole and it also describes the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the underlying reality below the physical world.

Yin Yang Net Yin Yang Net

The structure is dynamic, living, and it all hangs together, the separation is an illusion created by karma:

Dharma Karma

This reminds very much about Lucifer or the Holy Spirit. The galaxy comprise a stupendous Robe of Glory, and on this robe worn by Lucifer the billions of stars glitter like jewelled spangles. Lucifer, wearing this robe, presents the glory of the Light to all the worlds, and implicit in this Robe is Christ as the Absolute Light.

The Holy Spirit

It's interesting that the foundation behind the Earth is symbolized with a dove or the wind in the willows, but we know him from earlier times as Krishna, Adam Kadmon, Odin or Jahve.

Dove - Holy Spirit

In old times the Holy Spirit's acted openly as the teachers of mankind, but when man became I-conscious, should develop independent thinking it had to hide, working from behind the curtain, else man would continue being dependent on the gods.

The Crown Chakra and the Inverted World Tree

There is two trees, one growing downward, creation is downward, and one growing upward, development is upward. The Earth is surrounded by the Moon sphere, all influence from the universe comes through the moon sphere, through the sphere of the angels, through the Holy Spirit.

Tree of Life upside down Inverted Plant

The Crown Chakra is connected to the Moon, and it has a form like a chalice and it intefaces to the etheric world, so man is the hostie of the grail, as an inverse plant we are rooted in the etheric through the head.

Out of the Grail appears man, symbolized through Parzival. The Grail is a womb nurturing man, developing man, but when he have become ready he becomes God's coworker, he should help his fellow beings. He now commands the energy of the Grail, called Prana, Vril or Kundalini energy.

The Lotus Flower

The Lotus is another symbol for Tau, it symbolizes rebirth and desire for purity. Born of the lotus means an emanated god, not a born avatar.

Nebsini with Blue Lotus Buddhan sitting on Lotus Laksmi standing on Lotus Vishnu sitting on Lotus Lotus on long stalk Kamalatmika - Lotus and Hexagram

Here we also see the connection between the Lotus and the Hexagram in the Kamalatmika yantra.

The rebirth symbology comes from the retracting into the water at the night, and emerging a fresh in the Sun the next day. Tau is living in time, reincarnation rules. Man escapes by purifying his Lotus. The Buddhists associate it with purity, spiritual awakening and faithfulness. The flower is considered pure as it is able to emerge from murky waters in the morning and be perfectly clean.

In Hinduism many of the gods are shown sitting on the Lotus, they are the Hostie so to speak, the goal for mankind. The open flower and the unopened Lotus bud forms are associated with human traits, in Hinduism, the unopened bud is representative of a folded soul that has the ability to unfold and open itself up to the divine truth.

The Sixteen Petaled Lotus Flower

The sixteen petaled lotus is the throat chakra. When open it gives man access to the shared wisdom of mankind. That they often are placed aroud the wrist may symbolize that they act out of wisdom.

The Rose and the Cross

The Rose are for the west what the Lotus is for the East, although there may be a slight difference, the rose is more like the Hostie where the Lotus is more like the Grail.

The Saltire, the Sign of Bravery

A saltire is a heraldic symbol in the form of a diagonal cross, like the shape of the letter X in Roman type. Saint Andrew is said to have been martyred on such a cross.

Anne Roes detected the symbol, which often appears with balls in the quadrants formed by the arms of the chi-cross, in standards represented on coins of Persepolis, and she suggested that early Christians endorsed its solar symbolism as appropriate to Christ, and suggested "although it cannot be proved, that in the white saltire of St. Andrew we still have a reminiscence of the old standard of the Persepolitan kingdom".

The Swan

The swan is the messenger between the gods and mankind, it's the pure etherbody of the gods, and it's the pure etherbody of the human initiates. It's related to the dove, the symbol of the Holy Spirit, also the pure ether of the angelic hierarchy.

Swans are often depicted in pairs or with the god(s) on the back

Kala Hamsa

From Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

In the Hindu tradition, the syllable Om represents the original sound of creation: it corresponds to what the Christian tradition calls the Logos, the creative Word. It is associated with Kalahamsa, the great mythological bird that laid the primordial egg, out of which emerged the universe.

From "The Voice of the Silence" by H. P. Blavatsky

"Kala Hamsa, the "Bird" or Swan. Says the Nada-Bindu Upanishad (Rig Veda) - "

"The syllable A is considered to be its (the bird Hamsa's) right wing, U, its left, M, its tail, and the Ardha-matra (half metre) is said to be its head."

"Some Sanskrit mystics locate seven planes of being, the seven spiritual lokas or worlds within the body of Kala Hamsa, the Swan out of Time and Space, convertible into the Swan in Time, when it becomes Brahma instead of Brahma (neuter). A Yogi who bestrides the Hamsa [Swan] (thus contemplates on Aum) is not affected by Karmic influences or crores of sins."

Leda and the Swan - Zeus

The god Zeus, in the form of a swan, seduces Leda. It means that Zeus was in etherform, just as when Krishna was in his blue body.

From Apollo: the swan-god

Zeus, however, was delighted with his new children, and lavished them with gifts. To Apollo he gave a golden mitre, a chariot drawn by swans, and a golden lyre.... According to Pythagorean lore, Apollo’s soul passed into a swan on his death, and so the souls of all good poets went to swans on their deaths.

The Norns in swan plumage

From "Myths of the Norsemen"

As soon as the Golden Age [dreamtime] was ended, and sin began to steal even into the heavenly homes of Asgard, the Norns made their appearance under the great ash Yggdrasil, and took up their abode near the Urdar fountain. ...

The Norns laying their swan plumage

At times, it is said, the Norns clothed themselves with swan plumage to visit the earth, or sported like mermaids along the coast and in various lakes and rivers, appearing to mortals, from time to time, to foretell the future or give them sage advice.

The Cup-bearer

Zeus as Eagle makes Ganimedes to the Cup Bearer. He was put into the heaven as the waterbearer, Aquqrius. Zeus abducts Ganimedes in the form of an Eagle. He is often shown with a lyre at his abduction or with a cup serving nectar/prana at the gods.

Buddha Bowl

From Windows to the Universe:

Ganymede was a son of Tros, first king of the classical land known as Troy. He tended sheep there on the slopes of Mount Ida. One day Jupiter caught a glimpse of the young boy and was overwhelmed with a desire to bring Ganymede to Olympus to serve as the cup bearer of the gods. Jupiter thereby changed his shape into that of an eagle, swooped down and carried the boy off to the home of the gods.

Now it so happens that this position was already filled by Hebe, the daughter of Jupiter and his wife Juno. Once Ganymede arrived at the royal court a competition began between Hebe and Ganymede for the honor of serving the gods. Eventually Ganymede won the post, and stayed on also as the favored companion to Jupiter.

To honor the events surrounding the elevation of Ganymede to "cup bearer and servant of the gods," Jupiter placed the eagle, a shape he assumed when abducting Ganymede to Olympus, into the heavens as the constellation Aquila (eagle), and immortalized Ganymede as the constellation Aquarius (water bearer). One of Jupiter's moons is also named after Ganymede.
